AccessVision announces its winter "Sports" schedule

AccessVision volunteers begin the winter schedule on Friday, November 30th with Boys Basketball, as the BCC Bearcats travel across town to take on the Lakeview Spartans in this SMAC East Division rivalry. Each game will be videotaped during the week for transmission on Comcast channel 17 & digital channel 917 and on AT&T Uverse channel 99 that Saturday at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., Sunday at 3 p.m. and will air for a fourth time Monday at 4 p.m., unless otherwise noted*.

Happy holidays! AccessVision will be CLOSED for Thanksgiving Thursday & Friday, November 22nd and 23rd. We will RE-OPEN Saturday, November 24th at 10 a.m.



AccessVision will be CLOSED for Christmas Monday - Thursday, December 24th - 27th. We will be OPEN Friday, December 28th from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m.

We are open regular hours 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 29th and 3 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Sunday, December 30th.

Each year, the Alliance For Community Media Central States Region salutes the best community programming with a video contest, the Philo Festival Of Media Arts Video Competition. AccessVision has once again been honored with seven "Philo" awards for videos created by its volunteers and staff.

High School Sports Fall 2018 schedule

AccessVision will begin its 30th season of “High School Sports” this fall when the Niles Vikings travel to Battle Creek to take on the Lakeview Spartans in football on August 23th.

Each game will be videotaped during the week for transmission on Comcast channel 17 & digital channel 917 and on AT&T Uverse channel 99 that Saturday at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., Sunday at 3 p.m. and will air for a fourth time Monday at 4 p.m., unless otherwise noted *.

Arts & Culture: Yohei Okuma – “Japanese Culture Show”
Yohei began working with his 4th grade class at Westlake in the fall of 2016 to create a weekly news program. After the school year he took additional classes at AccessVision to become more proficient in video production.

BATTLE CREEK CHRISTMAS PARADE

This year marks the 29th year in a row AccessVision volunteers will have braved the cold weather to bring all the sights and sounds of the Annual Battle Creek Christmas Parade to the warmth of the viewer’s living room.

AccessVision will air the parade “live” from in front of its location at 70 West Michigan Avenue on Comcast Cable Channels 17 & 917 and on AT&T U-verse  channel 99.  In order for AT&T customers to watch the parade, they need to select “channel 99”, click on “Battle Creek Area – AccessVision”, then select “AccessVision 17” and select “OK”.

AccessVision is pleased to announce that we will be furnishing Battle Creek area fans with complete televised coverage of high school baseball, softball, boys lacrosse and girls soccer games this spring.
